This duet is everything Wow I am reeling。 I do not think I could have ever predicted the turn that Sebastian and Naomi’s relationship took but I loved it。 This book completely tore me apart and then slowly stitched me back together and it was everything。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This is a bit different from her other books because Sebastian isn’t like Aiden or Jonathan or Kyle—their stories I enjoyed a lot— He didn’t have that force of nature feel， like Aiden and Jonathan。 He didn’t feel cunning like Kyle。 I find myself more interested in Akira Mori。 I applaud the author for making a different male lead personality each time。 Aiden， Jonathan and Kyle has some similarities but still distinguishable。 Some authors just use the same male lead personality in all their storie This is a bit different from her other books because Sebastian isn’t like Aiden or Jonathan or Kyle—their stories I enjoyed a lot— He didn’t have that force of nature feel， like Aiden and Jonathan。 He didn’t feel cunning like Kyle。 I find myself more interested in Akira Mori。 I applaud the author for making a different male lead personality each time。 Aiden， Jonathan and Kyle has some similarities but still distinguishable。 Some authors just use the same male lead personality in all their stories。 Nevertheless， I enjoyed the book ☺️Looking forward to Damien and Mio’s story！ And also for empire of desire。 。。。more

This book， WOW， yea this book sucks you in。 Rina Kent is a mastermind when it come to dark and steamy books。 Everyone of her books just keeps getting better with every page。 This one is hot， steamy and just plan out exceptionally good。 This duet has drawn me in from the first page in book and continued until I devoured book 2。 Yep girls， get you a nice cold drink while reading this beauty。 You will need it！！

Yes yes yes！14/10 - my favorite Rina Kent series so far！4/5 spicy （slightly less spicy than book 1） I have been in a SERIOUS reading slump lately and reading a book has taken me so much longer lately。 But I read this book in 1 sitting。 I started it this morning and demolished it in 4 hours。 Ever since finishing Red Thorns， I've been dying to read the rest of Sebastian and Naomi's story and Rina did not disappoint。 Their story was gritty， dark and thrilling。 It kept me captivated， interested and Yes yes yes！14/10 - my favorite Rina Kent series so far！4/5 spicy （slightly less spicy than book 1） I have been in a SERIOUS reading slump lately and reading a book has taken me so much longer lately。 But I read this book in 1 sitting。 I started it this morning and demolished it in 4 hours。 Ever since finishing Red Thorns， I've been dying to read the rest of Sebastian and Naomi's story and Rina did not disappoint。 Their story was gritty， dark and thrilling。 It kept me captivated， interested and invested as hell。 There were points where I literally couldn't see HOW this couple was going to make it out the other side。 Normally， I don't love the whole cheating/married the wrong person thing。 BUT it worked so well here。 And the toxicity that Sebastian and Naomi had in book 2 turned into this all consuming love for each other in the least toxic way。 Sebastian went from a cocky， arrogant young man in book 1， to a broken shell of a man possessed by a woman he couldn't have in book 2。 Even as a reader， it was easy to root for Sebastian and to feel as though Naomi had done us all dirty by marrying someone else。It's not often that at the end of a dark romance， I feel *good* but I do。 I'm super content。 I'm thrilled about how much I liked this book - well the whole duet， really！ I loved the dark parts， but I also love how it ended and makes me feel warm and fuzzy （which is NOT often how a dark romance leaves me！！！！） Alsooooo- I feel pretty pleased with myself for knowing about Akira the whole time！ Good job， me！ I love that we get glimpses of past characters in this book， reminding us once again that Rina always writes her books in the same world。 。。。more

Oh， what a tangled web。I can’t believe how everything tied together so neatly。Rina has an ability’s to leave me completely stumped， this book was no exception。From the mystery pen pal， to the twisted history， I was completely captivated by this story。Were there bits I didn’t like？ Sure， but they were few and far between。I am so happy at how everything worked out - I did have doubts， I’m not going to deny that - but， it was wrapped up beautifully in a twisted and delicious package。

As you know， you definitely need to read the first book in this duet， otherwise your going to get a little confused！ Trying not to give too much away。 The transformation in Sebastian was huge， he was a bit of an a$$ before， but the incidents that happen over a period of time has him totally changing。 His heart is broken and he resolves himself to getting revenge one day！！ And it’s definitely a rough ride for the couple， when they bump into one another years later， he makes her life utterly miser As you know， you definitely need to read the first book in this duet， otherwise your going to get a little confused！ Trying not to give too much away。 The transformation in Sebastian was huge， he was a bit of an a$$ before， but the incidents that happen over a period of time has him totally changing。 His heart is broken and he resolves himself to getting revenge one day！！ And it’s definitely a rough ride for the couple， when they bump into one another years later， he makes her life utterly miserable！ I was prepared to leave them to it！ I honestly thought the author was going to do the unthinkable and not get them past this！ The twists and turns in this book will leave your breathless， the betrayal they feel will have you reaching for the tissues。 And the way Sebastian acts towards Naomi will want you throat punching the guy！ But she’s taking it lying down！ Oh no， she gives as good as she gets。 She won’t believe they are done！ And will challenge him at everything he does！ There were a few inconsistencies that I felt spoilt it just a little。 But I could overlook them as the storyline kept me glued to my kindle！ The ending also was a little anticlimactic， I did expect a few more fireworks！ But I will be going back to read more of this authors work。A recommended read。 🦋 。。。more

book it seems like it's all about hate。 THE WORST？？？？ Is that they are separated almost 1 decade and that's another issue that I'm not liking about Rina， it separates the characters MANY years and me off， I thought it would be 5 years since in Reina and Asher's book there is a 5 year epilogue and it should go on from there， I don't know why she put in 2 more years but that fucked me A LOT， because I already got the idea of 5 years and that I accepted， but almost 1 decade PISSED ME OFF。 （Actually if it's 10 years apart because they see each other at 18 and just start something at 21， so 3 years lost and if it wasn't for the bet I was sure I was going to continue the years）。2。 The possible story between DanielNicole。 I'M SORRY BUT IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY RIGHT NOW。 AND I SHIPPED DANIEL WITH ANASTASIA。 I SUFFERRRRRRR。3。 I really hope the women who are Knox and Daniel's heroines leave them on their knees， because I've read womanizers but THESE TWO HERE THEY OVERFLOWED 。 On top of that Nicole NUNCA me agradó， y cuando me enteré que Daniel iba a tener libro tenía la esperanza y cruzaba los dedos para que ella no fuera su heroina， pero por lo que se dio a entender acá y lo que es el título del tercer libro de la serie Empire si será ella y desde hoy estoy segura de que si en ese libro leo como ambos estuvieron con otros va 1🌟 re perra decir así， verdad？ Pero es que lo principal que AMO de los libros de Rina son la fidelidad que hay entre los protagonistas sin importar los años separados o las circunstancias， verdaderamente estoy cruzando los dedos para que todo lo que haya y debería de continuar desde ahí， no sé porque metió 2 años más pero eso me jodió MUCHO， porque ya me hacía la idea de 5 años y eso aceptaba， pero casi 1 década ME SACÓ DE ONDA。 （Realmente si es 10 años separados porque se ven uno al otro a los 18 y recién empiezan algo a los 21， así que 3 años perdidos y si no fuera por la apuesta seguro iba a seguir los años） 2。 La posible historia entre DanielNicole。 PERDÓN PERO ME ENOJA MUCHO DESDE YA。 Y YO SHIPPEABA A DANIEL CON ANASTASIA。 SUFROOOOOOOOO。 3。 Espero realmente que las mujeres que son las heroínas de Knox y Daniel los dejen de rodillas， porque he leído mujeriegos pero ESTOS DOS ACÁ SE SARPARON。 Encima no parecían estar cerca de los 30 años， parecían unos pendejos de 18 años aún， así que espero que en sus libros se pongan las pilas y sean hombres dejando esos juegos。 4。 Akira y el Papá de Naomi me quedaron debiendo， espero que a futuro tenga mi venganza por ellos dos。5。 La manera en la que Naomi le hizo creer a Sebastián ciertas cosas （como la violación） y no le dijo nunca la verdad dejándolo sufrir， eso NO me gustó。 También hubieron cosas de Naomi que no me agradaron。 POSITIVO。1。 AMBOS FIEL DESDE QUE SE CONOCEN Y HASTA 7 AÑOS SEPARADOS。 ESTO AMÉ！！！！ Porque si uno andaba por ahí me iba a enojar mucho。 Ya el tema de casarse con Akira me enchufó y sacó mi demonio。2。 Héroe herido pero siempre preocupado This picks straight up where Red Thorns left us in the cliffhanger。 I really liked this one， more action and twists then book 1 but my one complaint was the 7 year time jump。 I just feel like we missed alot。
